Donnell Elizabeth Carter was born June 23, 1989 in Ada, OK. She passed into eternal life on July 8, 2010 in Seminole, OK. She attended Strother Schools her whole life and graduated May of 2007. She was a current student at Seminole State College. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Sam and Imogene Harjo.

Donnell is survived by her daughter, Imogene Pohlemann; Mother, Samantha English and husband Byron English; Father, Tuan Carter and wife Trina Carter; Brothers, Deonte English, Aneas English, Darian Carter, Delaney Pennock, and Landon Carter; Sisters, Taryn English and Tuana Carter; Grandma D; Grandmother, Shirley Sanders; Aunt, Pesuchuka Johnson; Uncle, Echoille Johnson; Great Aunts, Mary Jackson, Mildred Harjo, Lou Harjo, Renae Larney, and Channon Harjo; Great Uncles, Percy Harjo, Nathaniel Harjo and Bruce Harjo; Great-Great Aunts, Bessie Spencer and Juanita Wise. Also numerous other loving family and friends.

Pall Bearers will be Echoille Johnson, Peter Harjo, Isaiah Harjo, Mitchell Little, P.V. Larney, Osceola Little, Deonte English, Aneas English, Joseph Harjo, and Jonathan Harjo. Honorary Pall Bearer will be Zach Glass.

A Wake will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2010 at Seminole Hitchitee Church. Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Seminole Hitchitee Church with Reverends Mike Svitck and Mike Harjo officiating. Interment will be at the Seminole Hitchitee Church Cemetery.
