No public funeral services are scheduled for Doil Lee Capps Sr. of Ada, OK.

Mr. Capps died Thursday, September 3, 2009 at his residence in Ada, OK at the age of 77. He was born August 5, 1932 in Francis, OK to Oscar Calvin Capps and Myrtle Jones Capps. He married Jaunita Hatton on August 5, 1954 in Ada, OK.

Mr. Capps worked for Howard Sheet and Metal for 45 years and he owned and operated Capps Auctioneer also for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Ada and he served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War. He also enjoyed fishing hunting, and being with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Capps is survived by his wife: Jaunita Capps of the home; two sons: Dennis Capps and Doil Capps Jr. and his wife Margie all of Ada, OK; one daughter: Debby Capps and her friend Ed Carpenter of Vanoss, OK; two granddaughters: Cindy Capps and Christy Gross and her husband Steven all of Ada, OK; two great-granddaughters: Madison and Natalie Berryman; and three sisters: Faye and Shirley Capps both of Ada, OK, and Virble Jenkins and her husband John of Mustang, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Myrtle Capps and eight brothers and sisters.
