Funeral services for Mary "Jane" Boomhower of Ada, OK are 10:00 am Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the First Christian Church in Ada, OK. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, OK. Officiating will be Rev. Vicki Crooks.

Ms. Boomhower died April 21, 2010 at her residence in Ada, OK at the age of 80. She was born on July 2, 1929 in South Bend, IN to Walter Albert Hass and Helen Gorgas Hass.

Ms. Boomhower graduated from Mishawaka High School in Indiana in 1947. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Ada, a longtime resident of the Ada area, and she was a member and past president of the Laureate Eta Chapter-Beta Sigma Phi. She was very active in the church, a member of the First Christian Church Christian Women's Fellowship, she volunteered at Valley View Regional Hospital, she was a member of the Women's Auxillary for many years, and a member of the Healthy Heart Club.

Ms. Boomhower is survived by two sons, Clifford "Butch" Earl Boomhower III and his wife Deborah of Shelton, WA and Kent Boomhower of Corpus Christi, TX; two daughters, Kathleen Horgan of Lexington, OK and Dana DeBurn and her husband Bob of Lemon Grove, CA; and four grandchildren, Shannon Horgan, Tara Horgan, Robbie DeBurn, and Jeff Boomhower.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Helen Hass and one brother, William Hass.

Pallbearers are members of the First Christian Church.
