Viola May Brill

Graveside Services for former Hughes County resident, Viola May Brill, are to be held 10:00am, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Crossroads Cemetery in Calvin, Oklahoma, with Rev. Al Hutchings and Jake Brill officiating. Services are under the direction of Hudson Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Viola May Brill, 86, was born in Non, Oklahoma on November 15, 1923 to Henry and Emma James and passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Viola married Lester Tim Brill in Hughes County in 1938, and he preceded her in death in 2001. Viola was a loving homemaker. Viola loved gardening , quilting, and spending time with family. Viola is preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Emma James; husband; Lester Tim Brill; six brothers and five sisters.

Viola is survived by her son Jake and wife Patricia Brill of Checotah, Oklahoma; daughter, Janiece Dority of Checotah, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
