Lahoma June Bise

Lahoma Bise passed away Saturday January 24, 2009 at the Ada Retirement Center in Ada Ok. She was born on June 8, 1944 in Wewoka OK to Charles and Elois “Fish” Harjo. Lahoma lived in Sasakwa, OK for many years until her passing. She graduated High School in Sasakwa. After High School she attended East Central University in Ada for three semesters. After college Lahoma was employed as a seamstress for Big Yank in Wewoka, OK. Lahoma married Bill Bise in Sasakwa, OK on April 31, 1988 and he survives her of the home. She enjoyed doing Indian Patch work, Sewing, Beadwork, Reading, making dolls, and cooking for the family that she loved to spend her time with. Lahoma was an outgoing person who enjoyed the company of her friends. Preceding her in death are her parents. Surviving family include her husband, son Charles and wife Susan Ryan of Wylie Texas, daughter Rhonda Ryan of Holdenville OK, Grandchildren April, Patrick, and Reba, and Katelyn Ryan, Erika and Ian Booth, Brother John Notah of Arizona, and sisters Charlyn Stary of Spencer OK, and Rosie Britton of McGregor Texas.

Services will be held Thursday January 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa OK, Interment will follow at the Spring Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Jones, Karl White, Chris Carter, Brent Niemeier, Jon Correll, and Abe Davis
Services are under the direction of Stout Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka OK.
