Graveside services for former Non resident, Lloyd George Coats, 86, are to be held Saturday, September 13, 2008, 11:00 am, at Non Cemetery, in Hughes County, under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Roby Cogburn, John Coats, Casey Coats, Kevin Coats, Dewey Coats and Ricky Coats. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Kevin Robinson and Jason Tipton.

Lloyd was born December 24, 1921 in Non, Oklahoma to William B. Coats and Alta M. Martindale Coats. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army. In 1954, Lloyd married Audrey Dillard in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He worked in Wichita Falls, Texas for many years at Builders Supply as a carpenter. Lloyd loved coon hunting and enjoyed teaching his family all about the sport. Lloyd also spent time fishing and being with his family and friends. He most recently lived in Watonga near his family. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey, his parents, seven brothers and six sisters.

Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
