Obituary for Gregory Otis Wheat

Gregory Otis Wheat, 42 of Holdenville passed away on October 31, 2017 in Oklahoma City. He was born on September 27, 1975 in Ada, Oklahoma to Benny and Sharon (Whitten) Wheat. He graduated from Allen High School in 1994 and was currently a student at East Central University in Ada. Greg also enjoyed working for Chickasaw Nation in the past. He enjoyed attending Missionary Baptist Church in Coalgate with his uncle. Watching TV especially sports was one of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed working out and playing video games.

He is preceded in death by his father, brother Bill Pegg and sister Darla Kay Pegg-Beaty.

Survivors include his daughter Kassidy (Wheat) Rowsey of Alaska, mother Sharon Alexander of Holdenville, sisters Cindy Kile and husband Steve of Roff, Robin Goforth and husband Cary of Holdenville, aunts Betty McDonald of Wichita Falls, Texas, Vernalene Olberg of Iowa, and Jerry Fredrick of Allen, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville. Online condolences to the family can be made at www.phillipsfuneralservice.com.
