Obituary for Harold Eugene Heath

Harold Eugene Heath, 71 died on Monday, August 6, 2018. He was born on June 23, 1947 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Charles and Mary Lois Heath. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed ski trips with his family and friends, coaching little league teams and attending OU football games, playing golf with his cronies and watching his kids playing sports.

He graduated from Central State College in 1969 and later obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 1973. He started his legal career in 1974, in Holdenville practicing with J. C. Daugherty, whom he considered his mentor. In his four decades practicing law his main goal was to serve his clients well with knowledgeable professionalism and honesty.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Sally, children Benjamin Heath and wife Kathryn of Holdenville, Amanda Warrington and husband Kevin of Edmond, Austin Heath of Golden, Colorado, grandchildren Taylor Heath, Braden Heath, Max Heath, Cal Warrington, Sydney Warrington and Bonnie Heath, siblings Chase Heath, Mary Pat Rawlings, and Helen Swope, nieces and nephews, and so many close friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Barnard Memorial United Methodist Church in Holdenville. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Holdenville Education Foundation, or the Holdenville General Hospital Foundation.
