Obituary for JoAnn Kelley

Let’s celebrate the life and death of JoAnn (Crow) Kelley born on May 9th, 1926 to Buford and Jewel (Griffin) Crow in Spaulding, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on July 26, 2018 in Oklahoma City.

She loved the Lord and was a member of Capital Heights Missionary Church in Holdenville. She was saved and baptized by the Rev. Carol Christian on October 16, 1949. In 1941, her family moved to a small community north of Holdenville, it was here that she met the love of her life, Clyde Kelley. The couple were married by a Justice of the Peace on September 7, 1943 and were together 68 years. They had one son, Rick Kelley who passed away on August 6, 2011. She was a machine operator at Seampruf and Lillian Russell in Wewoka.

Also preceding her in death are her husband Clyde (7/20/2011), parents, sisters Ruth Brinlee, and Ellen “Tootsie” Farr, brothers Alvin “Bo” Crow and Tommy Gene Crow, mother and father-in-law W. G. and Minnie Kelley.

She is survived by her granddaughter Beth Corcoran and husband Michael of Yukon, three great-grandchildren, Ellyott Bowen and wife Kelsey, Gunner Lucas and wife Audrey, Zoie Lucas all of Oklahoma City, one precious great-great granddaughter Harper Lucas, sister Sue Sanders of Oklahoma City, brothers Jim Crow and Bill Crow both of Montana, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.

Graveside services for will be at 10:30AM on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Reverend Jim Crawford officiating. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.
