Obituary for Margaret Elaine Muck

Margaret Elaine Muck of Gerty passed away on May 4, 2018 in Gerty, Oklahoma. She was born on March 29, 1948 in Holdenville to Melvin E. Wheeler and Leona Marie (Weems) Wheeler. She graduated from Allen High School. Margaret enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, sewing. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking for her family whom she loved. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Allen.

Proceeding her in death are her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Hightower of the home, children Kimi Dockrey and husband Lonnie of Gerty, Melvin Muck and wife Misty Jones of Holdenville, step-children Paul Hightower and wife Kaye of Elk City, Julie Hightower of Holdneville, brother Robert Dean and wife Jo of Allen, sister Linda Tatum of Gerty, step-sister Karen McFadden of Montana, grandchildren Anthony Muck, Savannah Whatley, Ty Brown, Aaron Dockrey, Anna Muck, Avery Muck, Reece Hightower, great-grandchild Ryker Whatley as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Allen High School Auditorium. Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jason Dean, Brian Mayfield, Chris Caldwell, John Cundiff, Larry Howard, and Larry Muck. Honorary bearers will be Rex Hightower, Willie Woodall, Bob Harden, and Delbert Harden. Interment will follow at the Gerty Cemetery in Gerty, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
