Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home

Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home is one of Holdenville's businesses that is full of history.

In the spring of 1933, Douglas Hudson and Archie Stout founded Hudson Funeral Home. In 1937, Hudson moved the location of the funeral home to 224 North Gulf Street where it remained for 61 years.

May 1962 brought the Jim Phillips Family to Holdenville. Jim and Jean Phillips purchased a portion of the funeral home and became partners with Hudson and began their long association with Hudson Funeral Home. The Phillips Family became sole owners in 1971 and today still continue the tradition of sincere service that has earned the trust and respect of the people of Holdenville and surrounding area.
