Obituary for Betty Sue Glave

Betty Sue Moore Glave, 73, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

She was born on June 12, 1946 in Francis, OK to the late Lillian Kidwell (Horn). She attended Allen public schools where she played tenor sax in the band and was Co-valedictorian when she graduated in 1964. She also attended East Central & South OKC Junior Colleges.

Sue married the late Melvin William Moore on June 3, 1967, and they lived together in OKC until his passing in 1988. She then married Gary Alan Glave on July 30, 1989, they lived in Ben Wheeler, TX and traveled the United States doing antique shows, which she enjoyed immensely, until his passing in 2004. She moved to her adopted home town of Eureka Springs, AR in 2006, where she had a shop, Tin Maker & Glitz, and organized the Veterans and 4th of July parade.

Sue is survived by her children: Angela (Donnie) Watts of Oklahoma City; Ed (Hope) Moore of Ada, OK; Riley Moore of Oklahoma City; Eric (Valerie) Glave of Oklahoma City, and Jeff Glave of Dallas, TX. 17 Grand Kids and 19 Great grand kids. She was predeceased by her Mom and Step-Dad: Leon and Lillian Kidwell, both of her husbands Melvin and Gary and Great granddaughter Shyann Upshaw.

"If roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my mothers arms and tell her they're from me."

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Oakman Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma.
