Obituary for Johney Wayne Hartman

Johney Wayne Hartman, former Wewoka resident of Longtown/Eufaula departed this life on Friday, December 1st, 2017 at his home in Eufaula, OK at the age of 76 years. He was born August 26, 1941 in Tulsa, OK to the late John Henry Hartman and Juanita Caldwell Hartman.

Johney attended Earlsboro high school and later enter the US Navy December 30, 1958 at the age of 17 years serving his country very proud. He worked for Rock Island Railroad as a brakeman and later worked for Union Pacific as an Engineer. His hobbies were fishing, playing the guitar and collecting memorable of railroad items. He was well known for his strong political views.

Preceding Johney in death are his parents, first wife Mary Mauney Hartman, second wife Frances " Frankie" Hartman, daughter Kelly Renee, two brothers, Don McCormack , Jerry Kegley, two sisters , Wanda Hartman Treat, and Pat S. Barnhart, two step-daughters Kelly and Dianna "Sissy".

Survivors include two sons Ricky Hartman of Shawnee, OK, Anthony "Tony" Hartman and wife Cynthia of Ardmore, OK, sister Mary Kieffer, granddaughter Katelyn Hartman, grandson Chad Hartman, great-granddaughter Paris Renee Lynn and one step-son Tony Jamison of Guymon, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel and burial to follow with Military Honor Guard at Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka, OK.
