Obituary for William McAnally

Mr. William Dwayne “Wayne” McAnally passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Ada, OK at the age of 76 years. Wayne was born June 9, 1941 in Union Hill, OK to his parents Walter and Josephine (Fortberry) McAnally.

Wayne has lived all his life in Ada, Ok. He was employed by East Central University for many years. He and Geneva married February 13, 2013 in Ada. Wayne enjoyed fishing and hunting and being in the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 4 years: Geneva McAnally of the home, 2 sons; Ross and wife Terri McAnally of Ada, OK, Joseph and wife Lori of Shawnee, OK, 1 brother; Alvin McAnally of Ada, OK , 1 sister; Vern Lou Tatum of Ada, OK and a host of other relatives, longtime friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Scott Dobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
