Edith Loman
Born: February 7, 1938

Edith was born February 7, 1938 in Bearden, OK to Charlie & Jewel Cross. She often told stories to her kids and grandkids about drawing water from a well, picking cotton, and lots of other things particular about growing up in the rural Oklahoma. She was a house wife that loved to do cross word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and rummy (often making up her own rules). She taught her kids and grandchildren to love simple things like finding four leaf clovers and picking blackberries. Edith loved sports playing basketball in high school and watching baseball, basketball and football on TV.

On May 16th, 1956 she married Ray (Hack) Loman. They made their home in the Butner area and had five children. She is preceded in death by husband, Ray (Hack) Haskell Loman; Father, Charlie Cross; Mother, Jewel Cross; Sisters, Helen Harris, and Billie Atwood.

Edith is also survived by 5 children, 15 grandchildren, and 15 greatgrandchildren.

Jessica & Heath Mosley of Wewoka, OK., Julie Tilley & Joe Withrow of Wewoka, OK. Daniel Baker, Henry Loman, Benjamin Loman of McCloud, OK and Taylor Allen, Shawnee, OK.

Great grandchildren: Grayson Jarvis, Waylon, Whitney, and Wyatt Beavers of Joshua, TX. Jayden, Matthew, and Caleb Goggans, Kaden Black of Grover NC., Joslynn and JJ Starnes of Wewoka, Karter Withrow of Wewoka, Mickey Mosley of Wewoka, Karissa Lena of Shawnee.

Survived by her sisters, Patricia Horn of New Orleans, LA. and Glenda Reynolds of Lompoc, CA; and brothers, Kenneth Cross of OKC, Jimmy Dale Cross of Shawnee.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 24, 2018 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel and interment to follow at Little Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Heath Mosley, Josh Goggans, Clinton Jarvis, Johnathan Starnes, Joe Withrow and Joshua Goggans Jr.
