Obituary for Bud Crockett

Bud Crockett, long time Wewoka resident, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 20th, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 77 years. He was born in Wewoka, OK January 21st, 1941 to the late Howard Crockett and Lula Charles Crockett.

Bud was a graduate of Douglas high school and attended UCLA College. He married Adella Brown, February 24, 1968 . He worked for OG & E as an accountant . Bud was a long time member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. He served his country with great honor in the US Army , serving two tours during the Vietnam conflict.

Preceding Bud in death are his parents , brothers Jim Nutt, Andrew Crockett, and Sonny Crockett; sisters Polly Gentry, Anna Payne, and Korean Thomas.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 50 years Adella Brown Crockett, daughter Lisa Crockett of Sapulpa, OK, step-son Rodney Greer of Wetumka, OK; two grandsons Joshua Crockett and Jacob Crockett; one brother Elmer Crockett of Wewoka, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 27, 2018 at New Life Church, Wewoka,OK with Pastor Larry Payne officiating and burial to follow at Westwood Cemetery, Wewoka, OK.
